Executive Assistant - Remote (Contract)

About the Position

The Executive Assistant will be working as part of a flexible team, providing high-level support to the Managing Partner, inclusive of administrative management, public relations, media outreach and communications. The primary goals are to support in EY Ventures Group's mission in providing resources to the brazen founders looking to challenge the status quo in health, sports, and technology.


In This Role, You Will
 

  • Handle heavy and complex calendaring

    • Be strategically thoughtful of partner's time based on established priorities and considerate of rhythm/pace of meetings and impact on executive's energy & productivity

    • Be able to look out 1+ month ahead for conflicts

    • Coordinate schedules with on behalf of the Managing Partner and external stakeholders

  • Earned and owned media

    • Support the Managing Partner in the day-to-day operations of The Drift podcast

    • Supporting outreach efforts for new podcast guests

    • Creating blog posts on industry insights and research

    • Posting on social media sites on industry insights and latest EY Ventures Group news

  • Meetings & events management

    • Handle meeting logistics, conference room set-up (including AV equipment, displaying presentations, seating arrangements) and meeting/event budgets

    • Plan agendas and compile & organize supporting documents/presentations

    • Capture minutes and assist with action plans or follow-ups

    • Effectively collaborate with other assistants on production of meetings & events

  • Executive support

    • Serve as the liaison between the Partners and key external parties (i.e.: Board of Directors, Advisors)​

    • Manage communications and travel for Partners

 

You Should Have
 

  • At least two years experience in the role, or equivalent related experience 

  • Google Suite and Microsoft Office proficiency

  • Proficiency in the following (or similar) platforms: Canva, Wix, Later, LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Slack, ClickUp Project Management

  • Meticulous attention to detail and follow-through; perform tasks with high degree of accuracy and efficiency

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills; ability to meet deadlines

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Ability to work independently, to take initiative and manage competing priorities with all levels of the organization

 

Additional Desired Competencies
 

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred

  • Supporting individuals at the executive level strongly preferred

  • Passion for health, wellness, fitness, sports, and technology

Additional Details on the Position

  • This is a 1099 - Independent Contractor position and does not qualify for benefits

  • Hourly compensation will be determined based on experience

  • Ongoing leadership development and opportunities to grow within the firm
